Michelle Faust

CV and Resume

Michelle, a native of Nebraska, earned her B.S. in Chemistry and Forensic Science from California State University, East Bay. She has been involved in a project at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 2008.  The project involves the growth of single, organic scintillator crystals for the detection of nuclear weapons.  She has recently been awarded the Lawrence Scholar Program Fellowship, which allows her to continue work on this project while earning her PhD in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis.  At UC Davis, Michelle is a PhD candidate in the Power Group, researching the synthesis of quadruply bonded dimolybdenum complexes with bulky terphenyl ligands.
